Progress is being made. It is difficult to fully apply thought to the process when there are still three more working days to go before we depart. It is also difficult to pack when some things are still drying (trail shoes, sandals…), some things are still required for wearing and washing (underwear…!) and some things are by nature last minute (wash bag). The never ending piles of stuff gathered on the bed though have been packed and, disturbingly, there seems to be less stuff than last year. I am still one suitcase down…?! Maybe we will spend the next three days realising all of the things we have so far forgotten!
